A season to build the life you actually want.
A Third Place house
Medellín, Colombia
February 2027 season
The residency
La Soberana is a curated live-and-work residency in Medellín for remote professionals rebuilding their lives with intention. Three months. Eight rooms. A workspace that becomes a household.
Bring your remote work to a household designed around it: a dedicated coworking space, daily structure, and a cohort of professionals who share more than a WiFi password. You keep your career moving. The house handles the rest: yoga and movement before the workday starts, Spanish at the dinner table, and a social life you didn't have to build from scratch. You leave sharper, more connected, and with a network of people who actually know what you're building.
Eight rooms, one house in the hills, three months that start together.

The four pillars
The house is built around four domains. Lean into all of them or focus on what matters to you.
Resident-led morning practice: yoga, meditation, movement, walks through the neighborhood. Join when you want. Your body starts the day before your laptop opens.
Whether you're deep in a remote role or building something of your own, the house gives you structure and a cohort that knows what you're working on.
Spanish is part of the house. Resident-run language exchanges, local guests at La Mesa, and a city that won't switch to English for you.
Host a dinner. Navigate a city. Build relationships across a culture. Social capability is a skill, and the house is your training ground.
Life in the house
No program, no phases. Just a good rhythm to live by.
Yoga, movement, or a walk through the neighborhood for whoever wants it. Then focused work in the coworking space.
Shared meals most nights, and La Mesa every week: a long table, a local guest, and the whole house.
The city, the mountains, and the coffee farms are all right there. Go alone, or with whoever wants to come.
Spanish exchanges, long conversations, and a house full of people as serious as you are.
The house
A small household of people, a shared workspace, and a house designed to make all of it work.
Eight ensuite rooms. Each with a workspace, natural light, and a lock on the door. Your room is yours. The common areas are everyone's.
Fast fiber, standing desks, and quiet hours. Built for deep work, not for performing productivity.
The heart of the house. A weekly house dinner, and meals prepared by our house team and by residents who cook. The table seats twenty. Most of the life happens here.
A private space for yoga, meditation, mobility, and strength. Residents gather here in the mornings before the workday begins.
Outdoor space for the climate that earned Medellín its name as the city of eternal spring. For training, reading, and long conversations.
Max and Manuela live in the house, work from the same coworking space, and eat at the same table. They're residents too, not absentee operators. They built the place and they set the culture.
La Soberana has eight rooms per season. Five are spoken for. Tell us what you're working on and why this season matters to you.
